[Athen] Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication

Hi,

I just had a need to use the Microsoft Authenticator app myself.

I used it on iOS with VoiceOver, and the app is remarkably accessible. If
they don't do it already, I'd encourage the IT to allow the app user to be
able to respond via push notification. And then, it is way nicer to use than
text messages.

The app's preferred method to add accounts is to scan a QR code, and again I
found this remarkably forgiving, I aimed the phone's camera in the general
direction of the center of my monitor and it picked it up.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Athen] Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication

Greetings everyone,

Our ITS department is currently working on rolling out Microsoft
multi-factor authentication for students needing access to certain
university systems. Currently, it is set up to allow login approvals via a
phone call or the Microsoft Authenticator app, but I have not yet found
anything to speak to the accessibility of the app itself. I'm wondering if
anyone has had experience regarding the accessibility of this system.

Thanks so much,
