We use the C-Pen Exam Reader, and the students seem to enjoy using them. They take little in the way of training, can be used on paper tests with little to no prep time, and can be used discreetly with headphones in a room with other students if need be.

Good luck,

Hi all,

Our testing center is trying to get away from LiveScribe Sound Stickers, so looking at reader pens. The one our office currently has is from 2001, so it’s pretty clunky. Wondering if anyone has recommendations? Any brands to stay away from? Anything I should look for specifically when purchasing? Anyone else using them in testing and have student feedback?

Thanks!
