[Athen] Locked PDF

PDF Unlocker does not cost a dime, unless you download the desktop version. I use the web version.

The problem with Bryon’s file is that it is too big. Over 100MB. The bigger problem is that publishers seem to think putting a password on a PDF protects their copyright, but in reality, all it does is lock the student out of the file. Not helpful at all.

Both Neil and Andi recommended PDF Unlocker. It works well but costs a fee after the free trial. I dug around for an open source pdf password unlock program and found this:

I am trying to edit a PDF file that asking for a password.. It won't let me open in Kurzweil.

Does anybody have tool they use to bypass the password request?
