Sean,

May I share this with our teaching resource center?

Thanks,

Hi Russell,

We have a free, self-paced Canvas course on MS Word Accessibility <https://catalog.onlinenetworkofeducators.org/browse/accessibility> we created for faculty and staff in our system. It covers basic topics around MS Word accessibility and includes a number of short videos and examples, including several from Microsoft.

The course is also available via Canvas Commons<https://lor.instructure.com/resources/f2e1f00f2fdc4b13a2714f6712087bda> if there is a desire to download and customize in your own local instance of Canvas based on need.

Take care,
Sean

Hi everyone,

We are looking for some short videos for faculty explaining how to create accessible Word documents, i.e. using heading styles, adding alt text for images, etc.

A video on saving these Word documents as a PDF with the accessibility features carrying over would be helpful as well.

We have some resources, but not in video format, and we’ve been asked if we could recommend these types of videos.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hope you are all coping well in these crazy times!

Russell
