For our Alternate Format Service in the Libraries, our primary go-to vendor is AMAC at Georgia Tech:

We generally are offering our patrons PDFs and occasionally EPUBs.

Subject: [Athen] outsourcing your document conversions

Hello one and all,

I'd like to chat with anyone who is currently outsourcing document conversion (as in textbook conversion). We utilize as many sources to obtain accessible or near accessible files, but are in the process of looking at a variety of options when files are obtained (or a book has to be scanned) and remediation is needed.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to answer via listserv or to my email: hascher at uark.edu<mailto:hascher at uark.edu>.

THANKS!

Heidi
