[Athen] Alternate textbook requests

Question to Pearson Education alternate requests.

Why do I have to specifically requests using the "Kurzweil Pilot Program"? I have students who use other assistive technology to have their textbooks read out loud to them. Why am I required to request a text in a format that does not work for them? Is this not discriminatory in nature? A student is free to use technology that works for them. You are limiting their access to your textbook information.
