[Athen] Need help with merging pdf files

Hi List,

I need to merge certain pdf files into one. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro and am using the 'Combine files' tool for it.

The issue is that after combining I am not able to navigate to the second pdf's pages from the first pdf's in Acrobat. The bookmark shows me all the files with their respective name still on instead of proper page numbers.

Can anyone help me with what can be going wrong here?

The files are confidential and so going to an online utility is not an option for me.
