Hello colleagues!

In anticipation of our January 27th (tomorrow!) ATHEN Quarterly meeting (all are invited, member or not), we wanted to discuss the real issue around software accessibility testing and how we can share information about the current state of a specific software.

We have a facilitated discussion planned and ask you to consider the following questions to maximize the value of our time together.


  *   How often do you need to answer the question "how accessible is [insert software name here]?"
  *   When you need to know if a current software is accessible, where do you go?
  *   What makes you trust someone's competence in software accessibility testing?
  *   Do you use the ATHEN Listserv for these queries?
     *   Do you respond directly to the person and not the listserv?
     *   Do you ask to schedule or offer to schedule a meeting?
  *   Do you do your own software accessibility testing?
     *   What does that look like?
  *   What are your top concerns with sharing your findings?

We are excited for what will result from this conversation. See you then!
