[Athen] Zoom versus WebEx conference experiences or opinions

Hi Lori,

In my opinion, as a screen reader user, Zoom is much more accessible. I've been in webinars that used WebEx, and the experience was terrible. It was difficult, if not impossible at times. To find the chat area. Sorry, it's been a while since I've used WebEx, so can't recall all the accessibility issues, but for me, Zoom is great!

Hope this helps,

Russell

Greetings!

Sorry for the cross-posting.

I'm back to the drawing board. I know I asked about Zoom Events versus WebEx last June; I received very few responses. I have to do market research on user experiences (e.g., screen reader or keyboard users) with Zoom or WebEx and may request an exception. There is very little information out in the wild about WebEx accessibility experiences or opinions; WebEx has been around since 1995. There is plenty of information comparing Zoom and WebEx regarding usability, costs, services, etc., and Zoom always wins at the end of the process. Most people favor Zoom for better usability (user-friendly, intuition) and accessibility.

Is there anyone out there that loves or hates WebEx?

Thank you,
Lori
