Yes, we get these requests once in a while.  We call it "reverse alternate format."  We contract with our campus printing services to print any electronic-only available material the student may need.

For ADHD, this is not uncommon. It is also common for someone with light-induced migraines, or TBI's that affect how the brain processes electronic reading or light sources.  Electronic reading is hard for the ADHD brain to manage, and there are a ton of distractions. I may see 1 or 2 students a semester with this accommodation, and work with them individually to meet their needs.

A student with Auditory Sensory Disorder and ADHD is stating he needs a hard copy of the book and the electronic is the only thing available.  Has anyone ever experienced this request for the disabilities listed?  Thanks.
