I know this is not exactly what you are asking about but I recently watched a demo of this app / navigation system called NaviLens<https://www.navilens.com/en/> and  it sounds brilliant. I'm sharing it in case you find it useful.

Hi everyone.

Our campus does not have names for our sidewalks/paths, which I am assuming your campus does not as well.  We are looking to up our game on our accessible map and would like to help map a walking route for persons who are Blind or low vision. We would then hope to be able to send the walking route to the person's phone.  Has anyone done this?  I would love to get your insights?
