Stanford University has an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Alternate Format & Braille Specialist to join the team responsible for the rendering of course content into accessible, alternate formats. The alternate format team produces a wide array of output formats including, but not limited to, the following: accessible PDFs, Word documents, HTML, braille, and tactile graphics. The senior specialist will take lead on the production of Nemeth braille and STEM tactile graphics to be utilized by students with print-based disabilities, including blindness/low-vision, learning disabilities, and mobility impairments.

Please note this is a two-year, fixed-term position and can be fully remote. Nemeth and literary braille certification required.
