Hello,
I work at Santa Monica College (SMC) as a High Tech Training Specialist with our Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD).  We would like to know if your college has a plan or policy regarding the evaluation of new technology (prior to purchase), applications currently used for student academic or public access, and publisher software (Pearson, McGraw-Hill, etc.).

- Who is responsible for tech accessibility evaluations (Info Tech/IT, Distance Ed/DE, an Accessibility Specialist, disability services, etc.)?
- What steps, procedures, or policies are used or listed? If any.
- Do you maintain a list of accessible technology, or any limitations with currently used tech/apps?
- Any other information to share about your school's procedures?

Thank you so much for sharing your school information.
