Some publishers have their own specific request form and will need you to fill that out as well. Sometimes they will request proof of purchase or say they don’t have a copy and in which case we can provide them the receipt or proceed with processing ourselves. We have a speed scanner and use our University Print Shop cutter to remove bindings of books to make them easier to scan. Sometimes they will offer epub but we are very specific in our process and need the PDF copy to process so we will reiterate that our student needs a custom conversion to meet their specific disability needs. We have also found the epubs often are missing things like page numbers (or are missing images or other elements) and don’t match the actual book so when professors ask students to read certain pages the epub really isn’t helpful.
