Hello Everyone,

We have ATHEN news to share with you!

ATHEN Executive Council:

   - President: Jeff Bishop, IT Accessibility Consultant, Disability
   Resource Center, University of Arizona.
   - Vice President: RaLynn McGuire, Lead Accessibility/UDL Specialist in
   the Office of Teaching, Learning, & Digital Transformation, University of
   Texas at San Antonio
   - Treasurer: Justin Romack, Assistant Director, Disability Resources,
   Texas A&M.
   - Member-at-Large: Joshua Hori, Accessible Technology Coordinator at the
   University of California, Davis.


   - The Secretary position is now vacant so watch for a call for
   nominations for this Board position in January!
   - A big thank you to out-going Board members: Dawn Hunziker, Krista
   Greear Wright, David Schwarte and Wink Harner. We couldn't have gotten
   where we have without you!!

ATHEN STEM Accessibility Virtual Conference

We are pausing on the STEM Accessibility Virtual Conference that we had
initially planned for February 2024. ATHEN is still very committed to
holding this conference later in the year. Please watch the listserv for
announcements around call for proposals and hold the date information.

The ATHEN Executive Council wishes all of you smooth sailing for the end of
the semester/term. We hope all of you enjoy your winter breaks and we look
forward to seeing you in 2024!
