Hello Jeff!

I know our blind student uses it, although I’m not sure of their workflow. Zotero used to have a running forum post addressing this: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/40450/screen-reader-accessibility-keyboard-shortcuts

That link has been updated with the Zotero 7 Beta and JAWS discussion, which supposidely improves accessibility: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/113872/zotero-7-beta-accessibility-with-jaws

There’s the Zotero Desktop, Browser Plugin, and mobile app that the user can use, and may have to use a combination of them to get accessible features not available in others. I understand the mobile app has more accessibility features but the user will be spending most of their time on the laptop.

There is a Zutilo plugin on Github for the Zotero desktop which could be a starting point to improve missing accessibility features (I cannot confirm this, but this would be my starting point at addressing issues since it fixes some inaccessible areas): https://github.com/wshanks/Zutilo

Hello Everyone …

We have a graduate student who is needing to use a tool called Zotero. They are doing research and need to load PDF documents into this tool from which it will extract APA Version 7 references for her and will then allow her to copy and paste them into a Word document.

Have any of you had experience with this or do you have specific guidance on how to work with this to ensure that APA styles are maintained along with this tool?

Any guidance is most appreciated.
