“This session will explore assistive technology tools that are somewhat hidden in plain sight yet available to everyone at Northumbria University.
Microsoft Office 365 Speech-to-Text and Immersive Reader are valuable tools for reducing hurdles and stress, particularly for neurodivergent and dyslexic students, while also benefiting all learners by enhancing accessibility and supporting diverse learning needs. This will be discussed and illustrated using practical examples from a student’s lived experiences.”
