[Athen] Alt text for exam images

My organization, the National Center for Accessible Media at GBH, researched this issue and created guidelines to ensure equity in assessments. The research and the resulting simple guidelines are available here:

As you note, it is important that the alt text not give undue advantage but it is also important that students be able to answer the questions using the alt text. It takes some balance.

I have done alt text for exam questions in different ways. I was curious to know, how do you form all text for exam question images, when the old text can completely give away the answer?
