    </tr>

      <td colspan="2"><span class="pagetext">The Coordinator is
responsible for training students with disabilities in technology that
will provide auxiliary aids that will assist in accessing course
information. Prepares instructions for students in accessible formats
(Braille, large print, audio and electronic) for computer software and
auxiliary aids. Maintains student training files. Maintains and updates
the departments technology inventory. Secures and maintains information
regarding the purchase of software technology and aids. Coordinates
efforts with the Office of Information Technology to insure that all
computer labs and the library are accessible to students with
disabilities. Supervises the production of text conversion for students
utilizing numerous software programs and aids to insure compatibility
between the documents and the software program. Manages the testing
process for students requiring software accommodations to take
placement tests and class tests. Instructs DAC support staff on how to
convert texts that are compatible with software programs utilized by
students with disabilities. Performs other duties as assigned.</span></td>

      <td colspan="2"><span class="pagetext">Bachelors degree required.
Masters degree in education, or related field, strongly preferred.
Three to five years work experience in an academic environment with a
strong emphasis on training students with disabilities and related
technologies strongly preferred. Strong organizational and
administrative skills. Ability to communicate effectively through both
verbal and written communication. Strong ability to interact with
students on an individual and group basis. Demonstrated analytical and
problem-solving skills</span></td>
