We use the term "Walk-in" in our descriptions of how customers come to
us. Many schedule appointments but in the "I need it now" mentality
that is MIT (and many other schools, I am sure), we have many
unscheduled walk-ins. <br>

I was asked by another department on campus if the term “walk-in”
which refers to an individual requesting services in-person at the
