Right, Norm, PowerPoint is next on their agenda for plug-ins. Again, it will be a wizard that outputs PowerPoint to accessible PDF. NetCentric's primary business is accessible PDF: Remediation, generation, spidering evaluation.
Hi Norm,

The University System of Ohio is buying multiple licenses for distribution at reduced cost within the system.

PAW is a wizard for Word that walks the user through a series of checks and provides straight-forward means for correcting accessibility problems. It then generates the PDF. The PDFs it generates tend to have cleaner tag structures than what Acrobat produces, especially with regard to table output and source order. NetCentric is also working on a PAW for PowerPoint, which we are hoping will be released later this year.
Best regards,
Hi, believe Sean at Stanford and the folks at the High Tech Center may have
Subject: [Athen] Anyone tried PDF Accessibility Wizard????????

At CSUN Netcentric talked to me about PAW, PDF Accessibility Wizard for
Word. A couple years ago, they told me it was coming. It took so long I
almost forgot about it. I am assuming it is superior to the Microsoft PDF
add-in for Word.

I'd greatly appreciate any reports or opinions.
