whole HTML5 video codec kerfuffle: Google announced today that they will be
open-sourcing the VP8 codec (which they acquired with their purchase of On2)
and Google, Mozilla, Opera and Microsoft have already announced support for
this codec in upcoming browser releases. No word yet from Cupertino… (as
