I don't know about Adobe Connect but according to
Valerie Schreiner, Elluminate offers support to end-users regardless they are
students or faculty.

TC offers similar support and so far to my
experience they were not bad; if I couldn't reach them immediately they got back
to me pretty quickly.

If you are going to sign any contract with them you
might want to emphasize the availability of the support in your contract. When
someone calls the tech support for a web conferencing system, it usually
means that he/she needs an immediate support and it is important that there is
someone to help.

I am very glad to hear that your campus is going to
include TC officially in the list of supported web conferencing

Our campus is looking at implementing centralized support for distance
learning/virtual classroom platforms, like Elluminate and Connect. We are also
considering TC Conference, at at least some level of support. Does your campus
happen to use TC Conference and how is it supported by IT? Any information
would help as we would like to consider TC Conference support, given its
superior accessibility.
