Hi Dianne and folks,

Why Window Eyes? Why not consider NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access)?

I've been teaching screenreaders, including JAWS and Window-Eyes,
for several years. Now, I mainly recommend and teach NVDA to my
clients who are blind, unless there is some unusual preference
requirement or they are used to a commercial setup. NVDA is free,
donationware, and portable (can run from a USB flash drive on any
Windows machine without administrator authorization, so good for a
campus [e.g. you don't even have to add it to the computers]).
WebAIM recently conducted a screenreader
survey showing that, while JAWS is still popular, NVDA is used
more often than Window Eyes and growing the fastest in use as a
primary screenreader.

I believe free is much more feasible!
