The other issue we ran into was that the hard drive was not big enough to store both the mirror image of the drive, and the actual image of the drive, so we had to have bigger hard drives. Since my machines were generally only used by a handful of students (those with accommodations to do so) I went without it and just kept the machines clean myself as needed.
