The website for Open Office indicates you cannot download just the
Writer, but you can achieve a single component install by clicking the
download link and then selecting CUSTOM INSTALL. From this, choose Writer
only. You should be good to go. The site I checked doesn't recommend
this, though. Let me know if you need more info.<br><br>
