<p>We have started using Sonocent this semester. I did a pilot over the summer to get my feet wet. I now have about 30 students using Sonocent but also have over 100 classes with a peer notetaker. Normally, I have notetakers in around 200 classes. </p>

<p>If appropriate, I talk about notetaking during the intake meeting. I then show a two and a half minute video about Sonocent. Almost all freshman have picked Sonocent over a peer notetaker. My upperclassman don't want to try something new. The students using
it really like it. They like having control of the notes rather than relying on someone else. </p>

<p>I then provide a follow up email with the license number and some training videos. That has been enough to get most students started. A few will come back and ask questions, but overall they are self-taught. We do offer training, but most students don't
need it. </p>

<p>I have found the company wonderful to work with. They are great about answering questions in a timely manner and provide excellent support. </p>
