other low-income communities, many of our students aren’t eligible for services through the state at the post-secondary levels. So we came up with a plan to use something portable (approx. 10 lbs.) that can fit in a backpack type case.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">We have a wonderful donor who has helped us stock our AT lab with our current software and hardware over the past two years. We have tried to be frugal and still have another $15,000 to spend. The donor wants
to see her money spent so we are trying to decide what we might buy that fulfills the following criteria (a) is useful to our students and won’t be obsolete quickly (b) if not directly useful to students, then useful in increasing awareness in staff and faculty
(c) is somewhat showy and/or state-of-the-art so that the donor can be proud. <o:p>
