<p>I should mention, though, that particularly for chemistry...NVDA+MathPlayer with will *much* more useful speech than you'll get out of VoiceOver, at least for linear chemical equations set using MathML.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I have a Blind student who is wedded to VoiceOver on his Mac. He now is taking a Chemistry course and my research tells me that MathML is not very compatible with VoiceOver. I’m concerned with how to make the math accessible to him when
he is very set on sticking with his Mac. Does anyone have any experience with VoiceOver reading math? Might it be able to read MathML adequately through Firefox?</p>
