There is a <a href="https://exercism.io/tracks/python">website/mentor program called exercism.io</a> may be an accessible solution. The advantage it has is that it does not use a web-browser based coding interface. Instead, it uses real-world applications (Command Line, Python software, and Notepad++ or Text Wrangler) to complete coding lessons, as well as a GitHub account. It does take some set-up to do the exercises. The advantage is it really does prepare people for working with code in real applications. Codecademy is good at teaching syntax and troubleshooting with easy-to-digest lessons. Exercism is more complex, and requires some more advanced installation and usage.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Another tool you could look at is <a href="https://www.learnpython.org/">learnpython.org</a>.
