In Word you can search for Strikethrough but you have to suspect it is in the document to search for it.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-CA style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Cambria",serif;color:#1F3864'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-CA style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Cambria",serif;color:#1F3864'>In PDF, all bets are off. We currently don’t have the ability to identify specific formatting. I just tried getting formatting information on text with Strikethrough using JAWS/current version and all I have access to is a font not in the document (BCED) and the “Times New Roman” also not in the document.
