Not one of the options anymore. I have Pin to Start, Pin to Taskbar, App<br>
Settings, Rate and Review and Share.<br>

If I go to my C drive and search for the app, it doesn't show up. I'm trying<br>
to put Snip & Sketch on my desktop.<br>
<br>

In checking some of the other applications like it does have the Open File<br>
Location but Snip & Sketch replaces the Windows Snipping Tool and has to be<br>
installed from the Microsoft Store.<br>

The old Snipping Tool does have Open File Location but it looks like none of<br>
the Microsoft Store apps do.<br>

Microsoft Apps are hard for people with and without disabilities to deal with. They don?t work like normal programs<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
One Case: Most pre-install Microsoft apps cannot be removed (uninstalled) without using PowerShell commands and even that doesn?t work sometimes. (I like to strip Windows 10 down to the bare minimum when I do a clean install and only install the Apps and programs
I?m currently using).<br>

Seems like more and more, the editions of textbooks students are requesting are brand-new, some with copyright dates of 2020.<br>
<br>
I'm finding this frustrating because they are not on Bookshare, they are not on learning ally, they are not on the ATN.<br>
<br>
And they aren't even in print for me to scan for the student because they are integrated in to the LMS.<br>
<br>
Are others struggling with this trend as well?<br>
<br>
I currently have over twenty requests pending for books that I just cannot get!<br>
<br>
All these students want audio, because they are brand new and haven't learned to use access technology yet. I wish the high schools would actually teach them to use modern ebooks with access technology because all they know how to do is stream music on their
phones!<br>

My stats for completed requests this quarter are dismal and it is very concerning!<br>

We also love VoiceDream Reader here. Blind and sighted alike love it once they learn it on mobile devices.<br>
<br>
For blind students on Windows, hands-down the best epub reader is Qread:<br>

never looses your place because it auto-saves bookmarks every minute.<br>
<br>
K1000 also does well importing epubs these days.<br>

If she is using an Apple device, Books does well with epubs. Also, if she is using an Android or Apple mobile device, Voice Dream Reader has been a big hit with my students.<br>

Our college tests all software that is requesting to be renewed or purchased. Our department is responsible for this task. Even though we have the basic skills using both JAWS and NVDA, we want to improve our skill set. We are both sighted users of these
two products.<br>
<br>
We are seeking anyone who is willing to do training for us. Both basic and advanced training. This can be remote training using Zoom video conferencing, in person, using email or phone calls.<br>
<br>
We hit certain walls that even though a YouTube video and other documentation tells us we are doing things correctly, we can't get it to work the way it is documented. For example, with NVDA, you can use the quick heading key of H to navigate headings. In a
Word document, neither myself nor my colleague can get this to work. It just types out H. And, if I initiate the NVDA elements list (Insert F7) while in a Word document, it opens google instead.<br>
<br>
We have Windows 10 and use the latest versions of NVDA and JAWS 2019.<br>
<br>
Any help will be much appreciated.<br>
