We had a number of student workers in our adaptive lab who we had set up with off-site login access to our AT lab computers with the OCR software and other text revision software we had available. We liked this because we (administrators) could easily track their hours and didn't have to buy extra software for the student workers to use. They liked it because it allowed them to work outside of the campus' open hours and outside of their class hours. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">I used a utility called logmein to get access (I was an administrator in the system). I've also had success having the DSS AT software loaded on the college servers and having IT set us up with open portal access. the office. I limped through last fall by doing the zoning for the students, then sending them the word files to edit, but wondering if there’s any web based options out there.
