<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">The biggest issue new low-vision folk seem to have is finding the meeting controls at the bottom of the screen. If you are helping someone over the phone, simply be patient and get them to explore. They can learn
the keystrokes to activate the meeting controls or even change them to suit their needs. For example, after I had hand surgery and could use only my left hand for a month, I changed my mute key to F1 and nade it global so I didn’t have to do alt-tab to return
to zoom to mute and unmute. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">People who typically don’t use the keyboard and are faced with using magnification often forget they need to move their lens around to see everything or use the keyboard to force the focus to where they want
and get the magnification to track the focus. My mom has macular degeneration and I’ve simply learned to keep reminding her to look carefully and move her magnification around to be sure she sees everything. She gets impatient if she doesn’t see a button I’ve
told her to click on and is convinced it’s not there. I have to remind her that these days, she isn’t seeing everything and it’s important when helping someone with limited vision for the helper to realize this as well.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Good evening. I have an incoming student that utilized ZoomText with Fusion and will need to utilize Zoom. Unfortunately, I do not have access to my computer prior to the students start date to be able to test out the program for concerns.
I have reached out to Zoom, as ZoomText is not on their accessibility list, and they have not done any tests with the program either. Is anyone aware of issues with ZoomText and Zoom, and if yes, have you found any workarounds?
