<p class="MsoNormal">I’m a big fan of Slack, after holding out for a while. We use Google as a team communication tool with my department at Texas A&M, but I use Slack in all other settings because it’s so much more feature rich.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Slack’s focus issues in the mobile app are a pain. For VoiceOver users, it’s less flicking through elements and more dragging a finger and navigating items that way. That said, I rarely use the mobile app – and find the desktop app a great
experience with NVDA and JAWS.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I dislike the lack of threaded conversations and direct mentions in Google. Yes, you can create new groups based on contacts and groups … but if a contact shares something that I want to respond to directly or that necessitates a thread,
you have to put it in the main conversation feed. That gets overwhelming. You can’t directly @ reply a user in a conversation either, which is a bummer.<o:p></o:p></p>
