<p class="MsoNormal">Speech recognition is a more general term. This can be used for items such as Siri when you are not necessarily generating text, but giving voice commands. Speech-to-text is more related to dictation. I usually do not use the term speech-to-text
but use dictation instead. However, I generally default to speech recognition as the term I use.<o:p></o:p></p>
