Welcome to Spring Quarter 2022!  These are important dates and information
to note!



Graduation Applications and GSP* (Graduating Senior Priority)
Registration – The UW allows for students to apply for graduation a full
three quarters in advance of their anticipated graduation time. The benefit
of doing this is that the students graduation application will activate TWO
quarters of GSP. Students with GSP will register before regular senior
registration to allow for them to get their final courses. Students may
still apply to graduate in the current quarter they wish to graduate; this
needs to be done by Friday of the third week.



Due to the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic, Academic Services are available

remotely via Email, Phone and Zoom until July 5, 2022

Graduation applications can be done through Zoom Appointments or via email

Spring 2022


·      April 8, Last Day to Apply to the Biology Major for Spring

·      April 9 – July 1.  Summer Biology Major Application Open

·      April 11,  Summer 2022 Period 1-Priority Registration

·      April 15,  Deadline to apply for graduation for Spring

·      Academic Holds happen in week 3 of the quarter, please keep an
   eye on your email for notice of a hold.

·      April 15, Autumn 2022 time schedule should be available

·      April 17,  Last day to add courses Through MyUw

·      April 25,  Biology Department Graduation RSVP

*·      May 8, Graduation Application to activate GSP* for AUT
      22/WIN 23 Due*

·      May 4- 22,  Commencement sign up date

·      May 6,  Registration for Autumn  begins

·      May 19,  Registration Period 2 Summer Quarter starts

·      May 20, Research Symposium from 11am to 6pm ”Mary Gates
 Hall”

*·      May 30,  Memorial Day - HOLIDAY*

·      May 31- June 4, Cap & Gown pick-up University Book Store

·      June 10,  Last day to change to or from S/NS Grade Option

·      June 10,  Friday, Department of Biology Graduation Celebration

·      June 11,  UW Commencement – June 11, , Doors Open at 12:30
  pm Procession 1:30

·      June 14,  Grades Due from Faculty

*·      June 15, Grades Officially Post to Transcript*

·      June 21, Summer Quarter A & Full-Term Instruction Begins

* ·      June 21,  Registration Period 2 Autumn Quarter starts*
