Hello everyone!

UW Best Buddies is looking to recruit new members, and we would love for you to be a part of our RSO. 

Best Buddies is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ending the isolation of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.

We have a combination of in-person and zoom meetings, typically every other Wednesday from 7:00-8:00, during which we do various activities to get to know one another such as games, arts and crafts, show and tell, and more! We also hold fundraisers and events with other organizations as well!
