Volunteer opportunity in Research at Seattle Children’s Hospital

The rheumatology division at Seattle Children’s Research Institute is looking for dedicated and motivated undergraduate student volunteers to assist with clinical and translational research involving patients with inflammatory problems under Dr. Dan Zhao. Volunteers will have the ability to gain research experience that includes but is not limited to preparing study material, data entry, and communicating with the research team while obtaining knowledge on the basic foundation of a funded study. Through this position, there will also be opportunities to interact with research subjects, shadow providers in clinics as well as prepare and present data collected at research symposiums under the supervision of a mentor. The minimum commitment is one year and qualified students may continue until graduation. This is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with essential research approaches. Freshmen and sophomores are encouraged to apply as well. If you are interested or have further questions about the position, please contact uwscri.rheumatology at gmail.com <mailto:uwscri.rheumatology at gmail.com> with your resume and a cover letter. Thank you.

We look forward to reviewing your application.

Sincerely,

Seattle Children's Hospital Rheumatology Research Group
