The Washington iGEM application deadline is extended and we are still accepting applications. 

Washington iGEM is an undergraduate-led synthetic biology team based at UW. As an interdisciplinary group with students from all sorts of majors.   We represent UW in an international synthetic biology competition held each fall. This year, we will be embarking on an environment/conservation related project(likely related to salmon conservation) although members will have significant input on the project design process. We are especially looking for people interested in our Human Practices subteam which focuses on the history, sociology/economics, environmental issues and policy that may impact our project. We are also looking for students for our Web Development Subteam.

We are looking for students who are interested in unique leadership, research, outreach, and business opportunities. While we primarily focus on synthetic biology, we need students interested in environmental and social science, business, computer science, and graphic design as our project is multidisciplinary.
