OCEAN 161 offered Fall 2023

 

Are you interested in ocean technology? Are you interested in learning more about where our data about the ocean comes from? We are offering Ocean 161 (Introduction to Environmental Monitoring and Technology) this upcoming Fall which is a great opportunity to explore these ideas and develop tech-based skills. 

 

This is an exciting class to learn more about how technology helps us answer big questions about the environment. If you are interested in the Ocean Technology Program <https://www.ocean.washington.edu/story/OTP_Home>  in our school, Ocean 161 is a great entry point. With this course, you can complete the three main ocean tech series courses (Fall: Ocean 161, Winter: Ocean 351, Spring: Ocean 261/361/461) in one year! See poster attached.
