Hi all!

I am the academic services manager at Friday Harbor Labs<https://fhl.uw.edu/> (FHL), and I’ll be in town next week! I will be on the Seattle Campus on Monday, Oct. 23, Tuesday, Oct. 24, and the morning of Thursday, Oct. 26. Pema Kitaeff<https://www.ehs.washington.edu/staff/pema-kitaeff>, the Friday Harbor Labs Dive Safety Officer, will also be joining the Tuesday Information Session to talk about SCUBA/snorkel research options for students at FHL, such as the course we are offering this summer focusing on subtidal fieldwork and research!

Courses at FHL are a great way to learn research techniques, gain fieldwork skills, and learn from knowledgeable and experienced instructors in a hands-on, small classroom environment. We have course offerings this upcoming spring term geared towards students at various stages of their studies, from introductory biology courses for those early in their academic careers to advanced upper division courses for students approaching graduation.
