SUMMER 2024 -
BIOL 310 is offered this Summer
BIOL 497 - Entomology This class will count as a natural history in all options besides Plant in which it counts as breadth or an elective.

Important Dates
* June 1-7: Spring Finals Week
* June 7: Last day to convert a class in Spring 2024 to S/NS - This FRIDAY
* June 7: Biology Department Graduation Ceremony - Instructions can be found here:
https://sites.google.com/uw.edu/bio2024grad
* June 8: UW Graduation Ceremony
* June 12: Spring grades post
* June 17: First Day of Summer quarter
* June 17: Registration Period 2 opens for Autumn - Repeat, nonmajors, and cross campus available.

Applying for graduation:
* Students need to submit a graduation application through a Biology adviser by the 3rd Friday of their final quarter. Email is the quickest way to process this request. We just need your name, student number and quarter of graduation.
* Advisers can submit a graduation application up to 3 quarters in advance of the estimated graduation date. We recommend submitting a graduation application early in order to receive Graduating Senior Priority (GSP) registration for 2 quarters. See the deadlines listed below or in the Academic Calendar for GSP.
* Email an adviser or visit Zoom drop-Ins to inquire about graduation applications. Be sure to include your student number and anticipated graduation date in the email.

The Deadline to apply is Oct 25th for Winter 2025 and Spring 2025 to secure GSP. Email an adviser to submit a graduation application. Spring 2025 graduates will need to wait until SUM/AUT to submit a grad app.

If you are unsure, that you have submitted a grad app, run a refreshed DARS and in the upper right-hand corner, it will show an expected grad date for a current or future quarter. If it is blank, then you have not submitted the necessary documents or have already graduated.
