<p>It has been awhile since I have looked at this, but I believe
that the .bin file has (in your example) 365 bands of data, each
corresponding to a separate day. In GIS I believe you could export
each band as an ascii text file. Hope that is helpful.</p>

to create text file maps from the Soil Moisture Map binary
output from the model, but am having trouble understanding

configuration settings, the each map layer holds information
for 365 days and the grid size is 48 rows and 52 columns. In
the binary output, taking for example,
<i>Map.1.Soil.Moist.bin</i>, the content consists of
moisture values that are within the grid size of 48 rows and
52 columns. My question is from this binary file, how do I
interpret this and generate the individual daily map text
files, in which there will be expectedly a total of 365
files (days).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
