[eOutage] UPDATE: Identity.uw.edu site is in degraded state

[UW Information Technology's email notification service regarding widespread outages]

    UW Information Technology is continuing to investigate a system issue
   relating to NetID creation and identity.uw.edu access which began
   approximately at 09:00 pm on 03/04. At this time:

   Some users might experience "bad gateway" error or slow website
   response when accessing identity.uw.edu website. Engineers have
   increased capacity to handle the load and continue troubleshooting and
   mitigation steps.
