[eOutage] Calls to UW phone lines starting with 543 from phones outside the UW phone system were failing

[UW Information Technology's email notification service regarding widespread outages]

    UW Information Technology was aware of an issue affecting callers
   ability to reach UW phone numbers starting with 543 that began 8:00am
   on 9/1/2023
   .
   Callers attempting to reach numbers starting with 543 had their calls
   dropped or received a message that their call cannot be completed at
   this time. UW-IT Telecom engineers were aware of the incident and
   actively engaged the vendor and have resolved the issue.
   .
   Calls from UW phones to 543 numbers worked as expected at that time.
   .
   No further update will be provided.
