The next webinar in the Accessible Technology Webinar Series, *Accessibility
in Procurement*, is Wednesday, *June 12* at *1:00pm*.

*Terrill Thompson* of UW-IT Accessible Technology Services and *Lynn Magill*
of Procurement Services will explore strategies for addressing IT
accessibility as part of the procurement process. The session will include
instructions on how to read a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template
(VPAT), a standard form that vendors often use to document the state of
their products’ accessibility, and will include a live analysis of several
example VPATs. Please forward this announcement to people in your
department who are responsible for making IT procurement decisions.
