[Alpine-info] Maildrop setup in laymans terms?

I am needing some help, I kinda don't understand the instructions

I did M S C

then just copied and pasted {imap.fastmail.com/ssl/user=chris at cwm030.com}inbox

Step 3 would be
{imap.fastmail.com/ssl/user=chris at cwm030.com}inbox

right?

I am NOT dense, I am pretty computer literate.
But how will ALPINE know where to download and store those emails on my 
computer?

Can someone walk me through how to set it up?
