`I´m learning to love this body all over again´

Candice Davis has spent the months since her COVID infection defying 
expectations - surviving the virus, for one, and then pushing hard to  
learn how to live independently.

Candice Davis wheeled out the front door of Good Shepherd Penn 
Partners on Friday to raucous cheers.

Her brother Starr was there. So was her father, who´d driven from New 
Jersey. Her mother in Colorado was there on FaceTime. Friends from 
her church group, and her pastor´s wife turned up. And the physical and 
occupational therapists who have spent months helping Davis adjust to 
her new normal cheered as hard as anyone.
