[AMP-L] Double Amputee From COVID Says She’s Getting Stronger [Video]

A young Tampa Bay woman who underwent a double amputation after a 
complicated battle with COVID is on the road to recovery.  

A fundraiser for Claire Bridges was held at Grassroots Kava House in 
Ybor City on Friday evening.  

The 21-year-old, who has an underlying heart condition, was 
hospitalized with COVID in January.  

As we reported at the time, complications led to both legs being 
amputated. Bridges said she's getting stronger and looking forward to 
the future.  

"This year has been crazy, but I wouldn't want to change it for anything 
in the world," she said. "I've met amazing people, created unbreakable 
bonds."
